KECdesign is a small to mid-sized commercial kitchen equipment contractor and wholesaler. They have experienced oustanding growth recently and it's time to rethink their game plan. After studying their customer base it is apparent that they need a new web solution. Their ecommerce needs are unique in that each customer has proprietary products and pricing. Therefore, a informational front-end web site was developed for all the customers and a storefront built around very flexible ASP.NET framework was build for individual customers with individual needs. This case study outlines the process and final outcome of the KECdesign web site project. Technologies employed: ASP.NET, XHTML, Flash, Silverlight, Deep Zoom. |
