Industrial Designer - San Francisco
Contract / Freelance Design - 1/09 - present
As a freelance/contract designer I worked with Lifestyle Design, an industrial design consultancy, on a regular basis, as well as several other corporate clients. While the deliverables varied greatly from lifestyle to commercial design, the process relied on a core discipline; competitive and user research followed by personae building, and mood/trend board development. These helped to build a narrative that could be used as a launching point for conceptual designs, and later product applications. Peripheral duties involved project management, client and vendor liason, as well as budgeting and proposal writing.
Deliverables include:
- Multi SKU bag collections and tech packs for mobile, urbanites.
- 3D modeling, prototyping and product development for the housewares industry.
- Complex packaging solutions for personal electronics.
- Corporate strategies for brand positioning and product development.
- Brand and identity development for various entities.
- E-commerce website consulting, including graphic design and user experience design.
- Smart phone application development including graphic design and user experience design.
Industrial Designer - Austin, TX
ID-ONE 1/07 - 1/09
ID-ONE is a award winning full-service industrial design consultancy. After a year with ID-ONE I was asked to open the west coast studio. My duties included managing projects, developing client and vendor relationships, as well as my design responsibilities. As an Industrial Designer I took part in a variety of projects from computers to sporting goods and leisure products. I helped manage corporate branding and product design languages for Dell Computers and Nike Golf.

Employed as a graphic designer and 3D modeler in an interior architecture firm. Brought a skillset to the firm that helped to evolve the brand image through promotional pieces, product photography and 3D modeling.

As an intern I worked closely with a small group of branding experts to design and launch major branding and re-imaging campaigns for Wells Fargo, Jiffy Lube and Chevron corporations. Designs included a wide variety of 2d and 3d graphics, signage, interiors and architecture.
